Cold Shoulder

I've never attempted to do a fully digital piece for one of my own projects before, probably because of the lingering thought that it might turn out downright rubbish. Well, I finally put my itchy fingers into action... With my first fully digital piece of illustration (at last)! The image was originally at least two times the size of the final here, but my dislike of several elements led me to crop it and work on smaller elements. I don't imagine my character Lance to be necessarily giving his pal Yolos the 'cold shoulder', as that's not what the original sketch was all about, although Yolos does make it a habit to say inappropriate things every now and then. It could be taken in any number of different ways.

Love the details, even on the little things, like build up of snow on their heads.
This is simply one of the best furry images ever. The look and expression of the feline are really amazing.
Looking so curious and cute, saying inappropriate things.
If he is anything like me, he has a huge crush on your Lance.
I do think he admires and idolises him, but he's worried about ruining their friendship so he hides his feelings behind his personality.
I would be surprised if Lance hasn't suspected anything yet.
Yolos likes older, mature 'female' types, but they don't tend to like him. Lol, you're the first person to say that he might have a thing for Lance... no no no noooo!!!! =p
I'll do anything!
I also like the style of the digital counterpart to brushstrokes, especially on the fur.

Well done matey ^^
Very nice picture.. very emotional ^_^
The expressions are brilliantly done - the guy in the background seems so confused as to why he's being shunned. Lovely. I can relate right now as well, although I'm more likely to be in the fox's shoes!
I'd really like to see more fully digital pieces of the two of them, and hear/see more about this Armaniss book of yours, too!
I'm sorry, so many artists have used the pawprints motif! XD
you are great anyway
Style and subject matter are highly reminiscent of early Tracy Butler, back when she drew "Ainessa's Martyrs" as furries. I strongly approve! ^^
The detail's awesome and the feeling I get from it just matches it perfectly. Very nice overall =]
now i wana go play in snow T.T
I really like the emotion and the short story of the picture.
And when I begin to talk about the style ... just magnificent.
Especially the details of the tree in the background, looks pretty realistic, chapeau!
