"Damnit!" The manager yelled. "Just when I sent out the last delivery driver, I've got an order that comes out of the oven! *Sigh* Arinel, I'm gonna need you to take this one yourself. You took the order, so you remember the location, right?"

"Yessir," the dog girl replied. "412 Mouse Way!"

"Good job. I need you to take that pizza there and make sure the pizza's still hot."

"Yessir!"

Arinel put the pizza box in her insulated backpack to keep it warm, then hopped on the scooter and headed to her destination. It's not often I get to meet the people I take orders from, she thought. This Nate guy sounded really nice. I hope he's cute!

Meanwhile, back at Nate's house, the mouse boy was trying to deal with his hunger. "Easy, stomach," he said as it let out another low growl. "The pizza should be here any moment now."

No sooner had he said that did he hear the beep of his doorbell. "Yes! Pizza time!" He went his front door and opened it, but little did he know that he wouldn't only be greeting the pizza girl, but a companion for the night.
