just my dinner. tempura fried japanese yams, carrots, and a couple broccoli.

Follow the instructions on any tempura batter box. I used kikkomans. the batter is three parts cold water to 4 parts batter, or 3/4ths cup water to 1 cup batter. dip in the thin batter, and fry in 350F oil, for 3-4 minutes or until it begins to get GBD [golden brown and delicious for those who DON'T watch Alton Brown]

I served mine with a sprinkle of seasalt.

I do to be can haz nommed it.
