I'm breaking open the archives! ... I've been so busy with Aether and the everyday career that my personal illustration time has suffered. In my creative absence, I'm uploading some of the works so far unaccounted here on FA!
This is Abe, one of the characters of the supremely talented Chris Goodwin. Part of an art trade we completed back in the Summer of 2001.

Yup yup! All is great! Just tired...
Thank you so kindly! Again!
Abe is the creative property of Chris Goodwin, but was not created in the "Frankenstein" sense. The lines and strokes that you're probably interpreting as sutures are just creative license. This was a really loose piece and I was exploring new ways of composing illustrations. I used a lot of fluid lines and undefined forms to represent an emotional quality about the character.

Lol. Seven? More like seventy when I take the big Dirt Nap! All is well with them. They're just going through various stages. One is developing separation anxiety, and the other is a becoming afraid of the dark, so they both volley off each other all night.
I really love the looseness of this style. The downside AND the upside is that it leaves a lot of interpretation up to the viewer, so the interaction element is there. But for people looking for solid depictions of their character, this is only confusing.
