There you go, Moom's Aura, all epic and scifi-y!
Done in Sai for a livestreaming session, pretty much 4 hours in total.
Sai may not be my usual tool for digital arts (in fact this is actually only the 2nd full color image I attempted in Sai so far...), but it seems to be a fairly cool tool.
(I have to use Sain for streaming because Painter and PS will lag behind from here till yesterday. Augh.)

Sai works fairly similar to Painter; I usually use at least 1 basic flat color brush, 1 natural textured brush and 1 blending brush when working in Painter, and Sai pretty much provides the same with the binary brush, its own brush tool and the water brush, so the workflow is not all that different. My experience with Photoshop on the other hand gives me some insight in how playing with the variant brush settings can quickly and easily impact the results of a particular tool. So, second time in Sai or not, if you know your way around Painter and PS, you pick up things pretty quick.
I've been using SAI for almost a year now. Before I was using Open Canvas 1. I could do some pretty good work with that, but it didn't have the tools I really needed to produce good work so I brought SAI. I had previously used Photoshop for some time a few years ago, but I couldn't get used to it and found OC easier to work with.
