lol, yeah, and on top of that, I also live in a total backwoods hick town!
So you are saying that there are actual intelligent people out there? Few! I was getting worried! XD
I just don't get it, I was born and raised in California, and I'm not a total idiot. I guess I'm just lucky...

Heh, yeah, it's sad that schools don't try to push their students to learn anymore. All they care about are their marks, so they make kids take incredibly simple classes to guarantee they will get good grades, even though they don't actually learn anything.
I was one who liked to push myself and see how far I could go, signing up for the advanced classes. My mom had some foster children in the special ed class, and they weren't even trying to teach them. They didn't know the first three letters of the alphabet, or how to count to five! But during summer, my mom desided to teach them herself, and within a month they knew the entire alphabet, and could count to 100! Not only that, they were starting to learn to speak actual words instead of the gibberish they were speaking when they came.
Then my mom forced the school to put them in the regular classes. They ended up doing really well, proving that they never had a learning disability at all! The school wanted them in the class because it was easier for the school to get better marks.

Yes. I was getting nowhere fast because the college I tried attending turned out to be incompetent. It had almost no classes I required, and the classes that I thought would be useful, the instructors turned out to know nothing about the subject they taught. Basically the school was relying on computer programs to teach the students.
So what I need to do, is find a good college that will actually TEACH me what I need. Unfortunately, there are no other colleges within 50 miles of my house, so I'll either have to move, or do a LOT of driving.

That's along the same lines as what I'm wanting to get into! The hard part is being sure you have a computer powerful enough to handle that work, and the programs to do it. I think gaming computers are the best bet for that (and I think are also the most powerful computer you can get)
