I was *trying* to do a portrait/ID for the 
Roses-and-Razorblades account of Valdin's and my 'sonas.
From the moment I was trying to place Blade's focus, I knew this wasn't going to turn out as planned. First, I had his pupils under his upper lids - but then he just looked like he was glaring about Valdin given him 'bunny ears'. I didn't want that, because Blade's not supposed to know about it and is supposed to be looking at the viewer/"camera" instead.
...So, erase and try again...
I decided to try putting the pupils against his bottom lids (of course, this was the wrong choice from the start)... and the result put me in a laughing fit despite my frustrations - and I just had to scan and upload it.
Valdin, on the other hand, was quite cooperative.
- This is unfinished (as in, tons of little things that still need to be done/fixed).
EDIT: If Valdin's cool with my rendition of his fursona, I'll probably just leave Blade looking at the pencil in confusion when I finish the image.

What sort of gloves does he have again? I couldn't tell from the reference pictures (and don't have the written description readily available) - but was positive I'd remembered him having gloves.
Yep, I forgot the earrings... and claws, and.. other stuff, LOL! Normally, this would have gone through one cleanup before scanning, but giggling and drawing just doesn't work together.

Hmmmm... I think they most resemble cycling gloves, but that's about it. They're mainly black, but with electric blue tips, knucles and ring-thingies (one around the base of the thumb and one around the end of the wrist. Oh, gotcha! I'm so blind - that pic was the one I was using as an outfit reference during the sketch, but did not even glance at his hands, LOL! That won't be a problem to add. I've got the linework mostly done, except for Valdin's gloves and a couple things on Blade.
If I remember correctly, his outfit is black except for electric blue trim, then? I'll send you a copy of the flat colours when I get that far, and see if I got them right.

Hehe... I was inspired? Plus, I had most of the linework done last night and this morning.. the details that had to be fixed/added were Blade's gloves, Valdin's gloves, and fixing a few lines... and Blade's hair - since I forgot it in the original sketch and, thus, last night whilst doing the lineart.
