Just a very VERY brief submission, but hey, I'm happy to be submitting any written work at all at this point. It's been far too long, and I almost felt like I no longer had it in me to create shorter works like this. I'm happy that I could prove myself wrong. ^^
So do enjoy this brief ballad of mine on a rather familiar subject. =)
Until next poem! :D

Thank you ever so much, Razor. ^^
I'm glad I could hit the "lighthearted" mark; that's an aspect that I try to imbue in most of my poems, especially the ones geared towards children. Furthermore, I do try to compose poems that don't boggle the mind; to me, it's just more fun that way, having the reader simply enjoy the ride. And a dash of humor? You betcha! :D
Again, I appreciate you taking the time to stop by, man. Hopefully I'll have more to post soon. =)

Aww~ It's so nice to see new works from ya! First of all, let me say you did a fantastic job. The meter is playful but structured, as is the norm, but the way you can produce follow-ups to such whimsical subject matters never fails to impress. I really do enjoy the fact that Jill comes off as such a caring sister, and the allusion to yet another classic tale is definitely worth a giggle. I really hope you keep the trend up my friend ^.=.^
