A few months back I bought a 20" girls bicycle at a Garage sale. it was fairly beat up, had been partialy overpainted with silver colored spraypaint(Amongst other shades), bad cabling, bad pedals, and in need of new tires.

I bought it for twenty dollars.


I have spent, at the time of these two photos, a few hours each week working on it. I bouth new inner tubes, new tires, Alloy pedals('Cause they are cool), new grips, a new brake line for the front set...

I have stripped ALL the paint from the frame and front shocks, and repainted both.

I have lubed every moving part.

I have test ridden it myself at a few points along the way, though I regret not having given it one last test run before today.


Today, around 5:30 PM, I gave project Vixen to a local D.I., which is the Utah equivalent of Goodwill. I hope some kid is very happy.


Had I kept with the original paint pattern I envisioned, the lower tube of the frame, half the front collum, and the area around the pedals would have been painted a light cream.
