In terms of Nature photography this is probably about as low budget as you can get.
This was taken on a late spring evening in early April.
What you see here is is a large creek not far from my home, right next to my development's golf course .
This is, in a sense, my version of Winnie the Pooh's "Thoughtful spot".
Whenever I want to get away, when I feel sad or lonely, when I have a lot on my mind that I want to reflect on, or when I just want to be by myself...this is where I go. It's my most favored spot, and it's special to me.
In the spring or winter, when all the bushes and foliage are not strong I go right to that tree in the picture, lay my back against it, and stare out over the water.
On this day it was especially nice, so I took the shot with my ipod camera. I'm sorry the quality isn't that great, I really don't have any of the fancy Canon shot cameras that truly take good pictures. This is all I had on hand.
I've had this picture for a while, and while it's not usually the type of art I upload, I really wanted to share this with you all regardless.

(will be submitted in scraps because it really has nothing to do with anthro art of any kind)
