When I saw this sheep's cuteness, the name kinda threw me for a second (Darkstalkers springs to mind), but with the note that she's the Grim Reaper, the name makes more sense, now.

"Shinigami" are a relatively new concept in Japanese folklore, actually... there never were any "grim reapers" or death-spirits before the influx of Western culture into the Land of the Rising Sun. At least, that's how *I* understand it.
