I struggled quiet a bit with this chapter. I spent the first week agonizing on how 'real' to make the dangers of this world. I seriously considered changing my plans on how I would present the story. In the end, though, I decided to go ahead with my original intentions. I believe readers will understand and accept the hardships that will befall the characters as long as they serve the story.

I also worried I may have over done it with the dragon's POV. Even reading it myself, it gets a little overwhelming at times. I hope it doesn't put anyone off.

The next chapter will be longer in coming as well, with the holidays approaching.
