Ive been off sick from work so I wanted to do some comfort art and try out a fwe new things i've been reading up on, mainly shading tehcniques.
I was wondering if anyone would be interested in commissioning me for their character in this pose. (obviously you can change your expression and clothes and whether you wanna be holding something or just waving hello) They would get a 100x100 icon as well as a 1280x1280 version of the pic too (which could then be printed out and used as a badge.)
Price would be $20 (or $15 if they didnt want it shaded)
note me your details if interested.

Fankyoo Zanten. I'm glad you think so. Today I was really inspired by this http://www.behance.net/gallery/The-Bear/2414352 and it made me really wanna try hard, and then i remember that shading tutorial
made not too long back and thought i'd give it a try

dont be afraid cause exploration in your abilities is really exciting. I mean whats the worst that could happen? you could colour something differently and the new crayon colour might somehow magnify the light coming from your bedroom window, concentrating it enough to ignite the paper and burn your house down leaving yoo homeless and penniless and then yoo might get put in jail for burning yoor house........
My brain is making up what she is saying which probably means I have had too much sugar. Something like:
"Oh! Here, look," said Gem, wobbling a bit as she unsteadily took a step farther away, "this is, is Grub," and she picked up a green and yellow segmented plush caterpillar with a happy smiling face and wobbly antennae. "See? He my bestest friend ever."
