Several years back, the Dark Lord and I went to London for a con. We spend about a week around London, doing touristy stuff, and as the locals didn't seem to have an issue with giant eldric flaming eyeballs, had a generally great time.

This image gave me a good chuckle. I couldn't help but recall the 1980s "Industrial New Wave" group "The Residents" who would appear on stage wearing large eyeball masks. So I think the folks in the London Underground are pretty well used to seeing such odd things.
