could somebody please tell me the story behind this joke?

Wish I knew...All of a sudden one day,the peace of FA land was disturbed by an invasion of pics of Furries eating and looking ticked off.... C.c;;

and in one case, a sandwitch eating a furry, while looking pissed off. IT BOGGLES THE MIND! O.<;

Cbee started it. Then Cbee got banned unfairly, then Cbee got reinstated, and it just sort of exploded into an insanely popular meme

Looks like there was somebody here on FA just uploading pictures over an over with an superimposed image of a blue character called Crystal, eating a sandwich, kinda like that "9/11 tourist" ( http://www.touristofdeath.com/gallery/main.php ) fad that struck the Internet in 2002.

And then, an admin thought it was against FA's TOS, or something, and banned the user who did that. Drama ensued, and then the 'eating a sandwich' fad appeared, kinda like a protest by people or something, and then it transformed into the latest FA fad.

I'm not sure, but I think the admin's been kicked off and there's a struggle on the site. And if I'm not wrong, FA was offline a few hours since.. uh... that admin was the owner of the domain name... or something.

It's very confusing, but I think there's lot of drama involved.

how did the lupin III series end? ive only seen bits and pieces

It didn't....New Manga came out a few years ago (and possibly more since then),and they've continued to do new anime...mostly OVAs and an annual TV special

is it pretty much same old same old? (dont mean that in a bad way)

That's right...although the license seems to be split between Pioneer and Funimation...Funimation distributing the newer anime and Pioneer distributing the classic stuff from the '70s

I seem to have missed this fad, and will probably continue to do so.
