So, I was in a kinda...odd mood earlier and I made this interesting thing. Not exactly sure what to do with it. It almost sounds like it needs some scratching or something thrown in there, idk. But here it is, lol.

I'll tell you what you just did...

It sounds like you just made a background audio track for an ad to a schmechxy-sporty [Insert Manufacturer|Brand|Model here] vehicle. Plus that vehicle is at a schmechxy night club.

I could see this as industrial or it is slow enough it could be made into a Jazz form and this you have at the moment is just the background tempo. That, or change it up and make it faster and more like a dubstep techno composition. hehe, nicely done.

Yea, I really didn't have much of an idea of what I created, but from what most people are saying, it's industrial, but now that you mention Jazz, it could be some sort of Jazz Fusion. :P lolidk XD

IMO, this would sound absurdly sexy with harder percussion. Not all the way to 808 stuff, but...fuck how would I describe a soundwave? Just harder percussion, but not too far that way.

but that's just me. It's pretty nice.

I think I know what you mean, and I agree it could use some punchier percussion, but this was purely and experiment so I really had no idea what I was doing with this style which is also why I posted it here, so I could get reactions about it. I think I'm gonna slowly continue work on this track to see what comes out of it. :)

It is incredibly sexy though, as someone above said, it's very much a "showcase" track.

The only thing that doesn't really fit is the opening percussion, but really it's not that much.

Yeah, I could easily call this a low-tempo Industrial track. Regardless of what genre it might fall under though, I'm really digging it. It sounds futuristic and reminds me of the type of song one would hear in one of the clubs in the Mass Effect games, or even as an area theme.

Well, electronic music in general tends to, but maybe that's just me. Some pieces in particular though have a better fit than others, and this is one of them.
