Here is my special thank you for 500 watches. I sketched out several different images for the 500 watch thank you, but only a couple of hours ago an idea popped into my head to do something similar to a particular 300 movie poster I've seen around. I liked the dark and light contrast in the film (I've yet to actually watch it) and remembering the image of Muythenia I drew using only a brown tone, I sketched and coloured this.
The image is a parody, highlighted by the three obvious not-ancient-Greek items I put into it. I did this quickly (by quickly I mean it took me a couple of hours) and I would also like to point out I hid the original sketch lines when I found it look good without them (if you took the ink/sketch lines out from other images I've done, the colours and lighting on it's own tend to look messy and ugly). I did have to make a few edits when I did this, but it's something I really want to learn how to do with my artwork.
PS, Look! I can draw males!
