Here in Canada, as well in other places in the world, we wear a poppy to remember those who have fallen. Sadly I am feeling depressed for being the "Lost Generation" of Chinese (not commie) and people like me are alienated because we are such political taboos. Furthermore, the thing I am working on may stir up shitstorm (at least over internet) and will certainly make me want to throw punches and elbows.
