No, you hate dicks that always try to screw you as much as possible when they pull you over. Officers are good, and if you talk to them respectfully, they generally try to help you. Dicks however, regardless of whether you suck their dick or not, will still try to land everything they can on you. I was doing 76 in a 55 and got pulled for speeding. The officer who pulled me over, because I was respectful to him and cooperated with him, dropped me to 74/55. It may not sound like a lot, but it's $12 I saved AND it went from reckless from driving to speeding, which saved me from having to appear in court. He helped me out quite a bit, but he's still got a job to do =/

Bleh I've yet to hit a "Decent" officer then. Driving a friend's car to help him out doing an errand... I got pulled over due to his stickers being expired and not being covered under his insurance...Then a speeding ticket where I went 5 over the speed limit to pass someone ( the road split allowing for passing so "Slow cars to the right" type of deal ) and I just wanted to pass him then move to the slow car lane since he was going about 10 under aaaand pulled over and the max the guy could nail me with... another fun time was me lugging my personal computer system from my college, a bright red custom built computer, that the security guards had seen and commented on in the past. I am dragging it out on a dolly and ( my luck ) two officers wander up to me, one grabs my arm and puts it behind my back ( not cuffing just holding me ) while the other inspects my backpack and computer and they call out people from the school and call for "Backup" getting another cop car out there with them... All to find out it was all mine and they were just being ass holes....I have other stories to share but those are just three that came to mind first that sucked :P Pardon my negative view since I have only had rather negative experiences.

as one who has done CHP work before:
while i hate to back them with "they were doing their job" they actually were dude. can't hold it against them.
it'd be the same as a doctor or nurse resuscitating you and you trying to complain about them giving you CPR without your consent. to them they're doing their job and by law they are mandated to do such too.
that last incident was likely security or other figure on campus saw you with teh dolly and called the cops thinking you stole it. they responded as such. while it was proven as no actual arrest form the sounds of it, the only people who could be 'blamed' for it are the ones at fault and yourself in that regard. (personaly if i didn't know ya and saw that i'd assume potential theft due to lack of knowledge...)
on a sidenote though:
Law officers also DO have habit of 'finding ANY little thing to write a ticket over if they can. and there are literally at least 50 in each city, county, state, region's unknown laws that get overlooked hourly. (no joke. go see some of those 'stupid law' websites for an idea)

Well one left my mother out in the middle of nowhere because he impounded her vehicle because her license was expired for 3 weeks. Not suspended. But expired. He said he couldn't take her to the nearest town either because it was "too far away." She was 50 miles away from anywhere she could get help and her phone was dead. it was 1 in the morning.
