Drifting wasn’t a crime.
I bet you were all wondering what I used to drift. If you look in my current gallery, it’s mostly photos of my daily Mitsubishi. But if you didn’t notice, the most drawn car in my gallery is the Mazda RX7 FD3S. Which was the first car I ever learned to drift in, and it wasn’t easy with 319rwhp behind the firewall.
I was recently rearranging my computer workspace for a new set up and I found one of my old hard drives. I cracked it open and I found photos of the good ol’ drifting days.
The photo above was taken at a drift practice meet at Altamont Raceway near Tracy, CA before Calvin Wan went pro and before they banned drifting there.

Car is a 1994 Mazda RX7 (FD3S) PEP
Surprisingly this car was able to pull big sweeps with ease. One of the hardest things to do in this car was reaching for the E-brake. Originally this car was RHD and was converted to LHD, so the handbrake was on the other side of the console. Overall, the car was smooth and stable when going sideways with minimal braking involved.
Some of the mods done on the car was; Zeal Function b2 Coilovers, Greddy 2-row front mount intercooler, SARD Racing BOV, Greddy Dual Intake System, m2 Downpipe w/ custom midpipe, Efini Y-pipe, C-West headlight cover, and more
This car was sold because the transmission blew during a drift run and we couldn’t afford to do another rebuild.
Ever since, I’ve just been drifting other people’s cars. From Miata’s to Skyline swapped S14’s. Sometimes people are surprised that I can drive better than the owner. Basically that’s how I got my nickname.XP
As of now I am still on a hunt to look for a project drift/time attack car. Preferably not Japanese
Thanks for looking and reading! :)

Rotaries are hard to work on period.lol Since there motors are similar to a jet engine.lol Thats why special tools are needed for them to be worked on and it was hard for me to afford a specialty shop to help me tune it. :/
Yeah, that was one my choices for my next car. :D But I also had the E36, E46, and Z4 on my mind too. XD So I am still debating between a bunch of cars...

Daaaaaaamn you aaaaaaaapex seeeeeeals!!!! Well back here, if your rotary dies... You swap it with a new surplus one hahaha :P.
Good luck with your journey on finding a new car :D. I'm also looking for a replace for my current toy car :P. It's either E30, 180sx, or the SW20 MR2... But one cannot ignore the awesome build quality of German cars >.<
