Actually, it looks similar to the design revealed, by Eagle Vision, on the floor of the temple at the end of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood where Desmond activates the small obalisk in order to get the Apple.

heh not quite, it's the Norse Rune for Lust, apparently, I read it up on a web site, not 100% sure if it's totally true.

I had to google that up! and yeah, it does look a lot like "PX". I'm not into religious stuff so I'm not sure what the Christian PX symbol means, I might look it up on Wikipedia later on. I've been trying to find the website where I found the symbol in the first place, but I can't find it :<
