I made this based on a photograph taken by Strredwolf on flickr. I didn't ask his permission to repost this! He didn't ask my permission to take it! Lets call it square.

This is my fursuit of a character I created specifically to BE a fursuit, and  breakspire did a gret job getting a partial suit of him made in time for Anthrocon '11. I've been thinking of ways to improve it, such as getting a body piece to complete it (still trying to find someone that can sew for lots of money), making the wings larger (they don't even show up in most photographs!) and maybe changing the colour of the beak.

Kouei was origionally designed based on a blue-footed booby, who do not have blue faces. However, the red-footed booby does. So I have two (three) choices:

* Option A * Repaint / Remake the beak a darker grey. If I paint it it would be susceptible to damage, if I have it remade it would be expensive and I don't need two heads. This would make Kouei most like his concept art but it is the most inconvenient.

* Option B * Get red gloves and change his species to Red-footed booby. This is a signifigantly cheaper alternative and works, but I'm not sure how I feel about it.

* secret option C * Leave it alone! Maybe the blue beak matching the blue hands works to make the character unique and I am just crazy.



So,

I can't decide which I should persue! You should help me decide! Vote for whichever horrible faximily above you think would be best, and maybe you'll see your vote show up at FC '11 when Kouei makes his second appearance.
