This project was a collaborative effort between myself and
custom-metal-collars - he did the weaving of the rings as he does for all his customers. Here's the rings alone: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6346712/
This one was different, because instead of ending there, and having metal on one's neck, my friend
blitzkriegfox asked me to attach the finished rings assembly to a leather collar underneath.
I had to find long post chicago screws from my supplier to do it, but that was the only special hardware needed. The main thing with this build was keeping the rings tight, but not so tight they warped the collar curve.
Came out quite nicely, and should be just as comfortable to wear as any of my 1 inch wide collars.
I'm not interested in weaving rings, but I would welcome more collaborative work like this, it was fun to put together!
See here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6840228/ for the second collar of similar style, with a different build underneath.

I should be up there tomorrow. Depends on if
woozywolf is feeling up to it.

Sweet! Then feel free to (re)post the rainbow collar image (and the green one too, if you like), and let folk know to contact me after they get the rings completed from you. To save them some trouble, you can ship paid finished rings pieces to me for the leather work, then I ship it to them.
Chicago screws can be black (gunmetal oxide finish), brass, or nickel sliver over brass.
