How I love pixel work when it's done well. <3
This is an incredibly cute duo, and it reminds me somewhat of Anise from Tales of the Abyss. The cel shading is wonderful; exactly the kind of quality from which you could easily create a lot of animations to put into a fighting game. I've seen a few people go over the top with shading detail and non-pixel work on a few occasions, probably indicating they've missed the point of this project, so this is a damn neat example of how it was intended to go. I would suggest varying the line width a little more, but when the base line structure is this clean and careful, it's not necessary (also being more of a stylistic choice than anything). I'm very much in awe at all of this, especially the close up. Very cartoony and cute. Didn't notice it at first, but the DS is a nice touch.
