A portrait of Mukadam Langkasa (PhD. in Physics, MSc. in Psychology) from the decade when Meraya gained independence from the Anglican Empire. On top of the formal attire, Mukadam wore a songkok he brought from home and a batik tie from an old friend. Needless to say, it didn’t go down well with conservative members of the Western university’s administration, but the picture remained a memorable part of that particular yearbook.
Mukadam could not be contacted for an interview in light of Meraya’s 25th Independence Day celebrations, however, since he had been reported missing the past seven years.

So, like, earlier today Mom said something like "Hey, why don't you ask B. to pick out a suit for you, 'cause you'll be graduating soon and you could use something other than the black one you wear all the time for these sorts of things" and I was politely nodding in acknowledgement of both the suggestion and the notion that I didn't bring one back from last time, and I'm sorry I'm bringing this up but we were on about suits and stuff so I guess I'll stop typing now or something.
