Being able to see the shoe kinda ruins the realism part...

I doubt too many people are going to be screaming about seeing the bottom of the shoe. :P

It wouldn't have been that much more difficult to cover the shoe bottom with something. :) Car mats work great, even those puzzle piece foam pieces are okay... I imagine the pads would take most of the impact of walking.

seriously everyone? I know what would have looked better but this is what the customer wanted not all of you? he didnt want the bottoms to get too messed up and truthfully attaching the Silicone directly to the shoe will last much longer than any of those mats, Plus he plans to order another set of feet fully covered and slimmer for indoor use.

It's just amazing that out of all the things someone could say, they have to point out the one bad thing about them. Not "Oh hey those pads are cute!" Or "Wow you did a good job with five toes!" Or anything of the sort. There's no attitude, just pointing out that the customer chose to go without mats or fur, or anything else. I have made feet with "parade soles" and with fur on the bottoms before. It's all about what the customer wants, yes?

Agreed. I actually like the idea. I think if you cover the bottom with fur it will soon get all nasty and diss colored because the feet are white after all. And these pads I think are much more durable and look better than matts... The bottom of the shoes don't bother me at all I mean when your walking in these you'll notice the bright pink pads not the bottoms of the shoes... Besides customers always right.

Anywho you did a fantastic job on these I really like the idea of making the feet shaped like that with a sorrta toe look.

I honestly just don't see the need for nitpicking, is all I'm saying. I'm actually very pleased with the suit and how it came out and so is the customer, so I would just appreciate it if everyone would try not to point out what they think is so horrible. Critique is nice, but not always appreciated when not asked for. :D

I know Emerald will be happy, it's all that matters! :D Love these! :3 It's smart not to cover the soles completely- it means you don't have to worry so much about getting them dirty, you can bounce around happily and care free <3 That person doesn't say many nice things though, don't worry about her x3 <3

How many people are going to look at the bottom of the feet? If the customer wants it, then they're the one who wanted it and didn't mind it, but how many others are going to look at the bottom of the feet?

the pads are nicely done, so it was puzzling to see them on an exposed shoe and not a nicer surface to match them. that's all

Yeah it's probably going to confuse a lot of people, basically these are going to be my 'training' feet until I can get the next ones made which will have pads and fluff. They'll be easier to clean than the next ones and I'll be able to get used to walking with them.

Pads are silicone, claws are plastic, and the fur is a short pile like.. 1" or so that had been shaved down.

oh cool! well they look very nice, your work is great! I wish I could make ones like this for my Okami fursuit.

It's a very smart move not to cover the bottoms. White fur gets dirty SO fast. No matter how careful you are. Why waste money?
Now they'll leave pawprints wherever they're walking! :D

Feetpaws start around $100 if you don't want pawpads or claws, of course things will change prices as well. All base prices can be found on my website. :D

urethane-neoprene blends handle walking and constant dancing better i've found.... so far. unless you disagree

They look really great, the whole suit looks great and it was a pleasure to watch your stream.

I have some of these paws made by FlurryCat for my Doberman suit. I LIKE them being wearable OUTSIDE. Means I don't have to worry my paws are being fucked up when suit parades go outside....especially in the rain!.

I think a Vibram shoe would be good if you wanted to make a good five footed toe. Plus it'd be more of a natural feel.

Yep, we suggested it to the customer who ordered these since he wants another pair for in the future, and he wants them to be built off of those shoes. He didn't know about them until we mentioned them while making these, though.

Just make sure he tries a size or two above what they say he needs.
