I snapped this just as the anole was getting ready to eat the rest of his shedding skin. He wasn't very happy about being disturbed. I forgot what kind of anole this little guy is though. From the St louis zoo.

You're probably right, I'm still kicking myself for not noting this species. In my defense, I got really distracted by the Fiji banded iguana next to him. I'm not great at identifying the smaller lizard species, snakes are more my thing. I'll change the description. :)
