I am in a submarine
Under the ocean
Looking at all the life
I cannot understand why
Anyoe would want to
Destroy this paradise.
A fish just swam by me
I could see by her eyes she
Thinks I am out of place here
Even though I feel right at home.
A gentleman shark tipped
His hat at me
Then continued dancing with his girl
The octopus was the bartender
The bass played the bass
A fiddler crab fiddled
And a sea turtle asked me to dance.
I chugged along the ocean floor
And a king crab was doing flamenco
A lobster, a passe doble
And a dog fish chased a catfish away.
I hovered over a coral eef who
Swayed as the tides turned, reaching
Her hands as high was they would go
And then she took a rest.
I went forward and found a
Seahorse, a noble steed trotting
In the oceanic atmostphere.
I looked all around me, in every direction
There were species of things I have never seen
Animals that you could see through and
Animals that glowed in the dark murky depths
Animals in every color
Plants here, plants there, plants everywhere
There were grass and trees and
Things swimming in the currents of the seas.
I am in a submarine
Under the ocean
Looking at all the life
I cannot understand why
Anyone would want to
Destroy this paradise.
