
As you can see by the date, yes this is a very old one and it has a great deal of meaning to me. It's not my first furry art that someone drew for me, that honor goes to my longtime friend Edward Luena. No, this was the first furry art that was a paid commission, and done none other by the multi-talented Fred Perry. I had this drawn by him at the 1998 Comic-Con, and was lucky enough to get in the first 20 on his list because his list stopped at 20.
This is one of the first two images that I considered the distinctive look that I've had of my furry persona through the years, the other one being an Edward Luena drawing that I'll be uploading shortly. I've had the Fred Perry drawing in a frame for forever, and finally got around to getting it scanned. Ahh... those were the days. Gold Digger was my favorite comic back in the days, and it still holds a special place. He looks regal and serene in this picture. Hope you like it. :)
