So, I felt like playing around with photoshop this weekened and seeing what kind of styles I can come up with.
Altogether, it was pretty darn fun and I was surprised at what I came up with. There are a lot more that I want to try, but I'll do that another day. For now, enjoy this dump.

I refuse to imitate anime in any way. The style is too generic and overused, I would much rather prefer to aim for something different. In reality, most of these styles have anime influence (unintentional of course) anyway. Anime is basically defined to be any art that falls between cartoony and realism. So even Lion King can be considered anime, to an extent.
I appreciate the suggestion, but its not what I am looking for. The style experimentation displayed above were not direct mimicks of other styles. However, I was inspired by other artists who demonstrate similar traits.
