I think it needs many more frames to make it clear what's going on. It wasn't even obvious that the cat and the catgirl were the same. It was almost like the cat was just doing it's own thing, and the two panels above were showing a catgirl chasing after, trying to catch/find it.
Not to be mean; but you do need more panels for this to really work. I've seen my fair share of transformation comics, being something of a fan, and- while your art is still good- you're lacking in flow. Really, I'm pretty sure all you'd need is one more panel of the random guy further along in his transformation; MAYBE two if you want the audience to be absolutely sure of the progression of events. Might want to look up other transformation comics on here to get a clearer picture of what I'm talking about.
