The lime opossum (Didelphis citrus) is the only photosynthesizing marsupial found in North America, or for that matter, the world. A solitary, diurnal creature, the lime opossum spends its entire life dwelling in the branches of lime groves. From birth to death, it only ventures to the ground to mate or take part in the occasional marshmallow roast.
Ehehe. Another ATC, this one was done as a gift to pen pal and IRL friend Chelsea. The girl is amazing - her whole life, for whatever reason, possums have always reminded her of limes, and vice versa. Thus, the lime possum was born, and she requested I draw her one. <3
