So, yeah, I'm a huge huge huge fan of Stan Sakai's Usagi Yojimbo, and, I knew I was going to meet Stan again at Comic-Con this year. On Preview night, I gave him the 11x14 pencil lineart for this piece, and on Friday he gets the finished color version. As happy as he was with the pencil piece, I really hope he enjoys the color. I know I love how it came out, and as similar as it is to my "Sakai Jironato" piece, I still enjoy how I was able to blend both mine and Stan's styles to make his character come out in this one.

Please, folks, read the descriptions before making comments. Usagi is not my character, he belongs to Stan Sakai, and is actually older than Eastman and Laird's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," though he did do a guest spot on the cartoon. Also, you'll have to take the name up with Stan. It's been working well for 23 years now, so I think it's quite alright.
