Resuming my 'sweeps month' presentation, I offer the first in a series of 'fat furry' mini-sketches (with a related theme), as rendered by popular "Fur Affinity" member Tosh Bibb, a.k.a. Tzologeist.

When Tzologeist and I met at the 2003 edition of "Megaplex" - Florida's own 'furry convention' (known, back then, as "Pawpet Megaplex") - in Orlando, I'd shown her a small sampling of my own anthropomorphic artwork. One particular piece that caught her eye (and sparked her imagination) was one of my FLABBO ad parodies...

(For the uninitiated, my FLABBO ads spoofed designer clothing print ads in newspapers and magazines. In this case, I'd spoofed ads for FUBU - which was an acronym for "For Us, By Us". So, I'd decided to draw a few ads with clothing designed exclusively for 'fat furry' characters (even though their respective bellies would be exposed), under the fictitious brand name of FLABBO - which was an acronym for "For Large Animals, By Bigger Ones"!)

As part of her package (filled with her own art) - which she'd mailed me a few weeks after "Megaplex" - Tzologeist included a series of mini-sketches of various fat fauna who would be ideal candidates for future FLABBO ads...

Her 'fat wolf' from "Envelope Art #2" - http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6830429/ - was one potential model. For the next day or so, I'll show off a few other FLABBO candidates...

This first offering depicts a blubbery seal with a healthy appetite - as the fish sandwich it's holding exemplifies. (This mini-sketch is so funny, I'm overlooking the fact that Tzologeist gave this marine mammal human hands and feet, instead of the obligatory flippers and tail fins!)
