Basically when I was hanging out with friends, the music was playing but nobody was moving. we began to joke about it and then my friend Alex who was semi asleep on the couch started moving his arms to the music, then Zack did it, then I did it and it has become a running gag amongst us since then.

basically to party alone, just move your arms to the music. looks stupid, but it's a lot of fun.
