My prize artwork for ranking 2nd place in Dark Darius' character design contest. This is one of my Halo OC's, but from the human side of the war, one of the legendary Spartan super soldiers, 409 Elsy. She is an alternate universe version of my Warhammer 40k Tau OC by the same name, yet over time as a result of character development, is now completely alien (no pun intended) to her Tau counterpart.

I think Darius did a great job on this, considering he's never played Halo before to the best of my knowledge. If I am allowed to critique, I would say she looks more like a Spartan II than a III, as she is supposed to be the lighter III version. And doesn't quite look as feminine as she normally does. But he does have 2 other prizes to do and a weekly webcomic (It is called Eatatau. Go read it. Why are you not reading it) so considering the amount of effort he put into this, I can't complain.

Who is Elsy you may ask? She is a Spartan, she has a sword, acombat knife, an epic black bandana, is a closet lesbian and can kick your ass. That's really all you need to know.
