''Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring'' from Cantata ''Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben'', BWV 147, by Johann Sebastian Bach
2 minutes 35 seconds
This piece was recorded using my very first portable keyboard setup. Synthesizers could only play one note at a time back then...and the instrument was very heavy too! XD. The synth sat on top of the portable organ (also very heavy) so I could play both keyboards at the same time. Taking a clue from the early recordings of The Beatles, I used a regular tape deck to record this; with the organ on the left channel and the synth on the right channel.
Performed live on Yamaha monophonic synthesizer, Farfisa Organ, and 2-track tape recorder.
