Just posted this to my tumblr (Check it out! New art every weekday!) and I figured it might be of interest to my FA watchers due to being Courtly Love-related and also ponies.

So, here are three of the main characters remade as ponies. There's Serena in the middle, the object of her affection whose name is still not revealed on the right, and Vladimir poking his head in on the left because he's a nosey jerk (his heart is in the right place, really). It was a challenge to reconcile wanting Serena to be a pony and not a gazelle with wanting her fur patterns and such to resemble her as she is. Similarly with the one on the right I wanted her to have a broad snout and big, discretely hoofed feet, while still looking female despite those being the main visual cues for maleness in MLP. It just felt proper for her character. I think I did okay on both fronts. Vladimir is just there because I just thought it'd be funny for him to be spying.

Serena's cutey mark is a book and quill, and the lady to the right's is a pitchfork and shovel crossed.

This was my first serious attempt at ponies. They're harder to draw than they look!
