"Double Dragon"
(i will forever call him Bimmy because of the typo in DD3)
No i hadnt planned on a comic for this like I'm doing with Zelda,
however it is a game that i had played a lot as a kid.
and also Duane And Brando again are always inspiring:

however, what is really sad about Double Dragon, is that
everyone noticed that game but never acknowledged, "River City Ransom"
"River City Ransom" was the same style format although it was like "Scott Pilgrim". You could level up characters had a lot more fighting moves then double dragon......A LOT MORE MOVES....and you could also move around the town freely from one place to the next rather then going from level 1-level 2- and so on.

you probably missed it because for some reason Double Dragon
title steam rolled it......I have no idea why...i guess we Americans
weren't smart enough to play it at the time.

i love the episode link was in,
but considering how they but fucked us with Simon Belmont, yikes.
i honestly wish Samus Aaron would have been the princess instead of Lonna,
she wasn't even real, I mean they were already fighting "Mother Brain" in the "Metroid Universe"
it would have been her prime initiative, my only guess is no one researched Samus' name in the
old show so i thought maybe Lanna was gonna put on the armor in the last episode( surprise metroid ending!), but that
was too much wishful thinking, that show was never gonna be clever like that.
however one of my favorite episodes is where Kevin is caught in his on mind and is slowly
paralyzed by these brain parasite things.
I love that show. It was so awful and yet so fun.

Let's see, first you have Marian being murdered in the arcade version of Double Dragon II, but in the NES version, she still dies, but is miraculously brought back to life if you beat the game on Warrior difficulty.
In Double Dragon 3, Marian is still gone in the arcade version, but is supposedly possessed in the NES version.
It may be possible, however, that Marion's revival became the true cannon, because in Double Dragon Returns, she was originally planned to be in the game as a police officer!
Oh, and I haven't even touched how the cartoons and comics where different!
But still, will all the different versions, and with how often you'd see it advertized back in the day, I too am surprised that Million (the current owners of the Double Dragon series) hasn't made a new game in the series since Double Dragon Advance, which was more or less a remix of the original game that combined the original series.

i think the best idea of a new Double Dragon game for me was
the Watchmen game that came out a few years back.
it was really simple, just a few levels of beat em up and story add-on to the movie,
but for me its everything a 3D double dragon game needed.
but agreed,

even if it would turn out to be a stupid game.

I am like everyone one else,
I love that game and yet at the same time I cant stand to even look at it, at times.
I have never passed the jet bike level.
I'm not sure, but i just like the first Double Dragon better,
and I have never played their cross over game on SNES.
but Battletoads are cool, I'm not gonna lie.
