Brief Description:
Vinge Glaseros is the son of Canadian born Vernardo Glaseros, and Norwegian born Janette Glaseros, who came to Canada during World War 1 in case Norway was ever attacked. But she met Vernardo there, and decided to stay in Canada.
Vinge was born over 70 years later, and lived happily with his parents until his father was taken away by a notorious science extremist, Dr. Jacob Rex. Vinge still hopes to one day find his father, and swears that if he ever finds Jacob Rex, he will destroy him.
Vinge is a member of Volcans' Power Metal band, the Mythic Four (formerly 'Three' until Vinge joined). But their meeting didn't start out that way. Vinge's mother had come down with a severe illness and their medical insurance wouldn't cover it. Desperate not to lose another of his family, Vinge resorted to robbing a bank, but he was stopped by Volcan. However, once learning of his reason and finding out it was true, Volcan protected Vinge, appealing to give him lenience and offering to give Vinge a job with his band. The judge was fortunately a forgiving soul, and permitted it. Volcan's band then sponsored Janette's treatment.
Vinge writes songs for the band and plays as bass or keyboard, depending on where they need him. Don't let his scowl fool you; Phoenixes have naturally furrowed brows. This is the way his face usually looks. Though he's happy with what he's doing, and he gets along excellent with the rest of his band mates, Vinge still swears he'll one day find his father and bring him home, and that nothing will stop him.
