Lantern Cats' fur glow dimly because of a special pigment in their fur (which is most apparent at night).
(They have been mistaken for ghosts or demons by the local people because of this.) The pigment is thought to be to warn predators of their venomous nature.
As mentioned above, they are also highly venomous. The venom is produced in glands above the mouth, which is released into the saliva, where it bites whatever and the venom seeps into the wound (this may be done multiple times, where as afterwards it will follow it's prey until it dies or is too weak to fight back). The venom causes shock, intense pain and tissue death. But it's own venom will not harm it if it's ingested, but like it's colours, venom is different for each cat, and is poisonous to every individual other than itself.
Basically:
(OwnVenom)+(OwnVenom)= No damage whatsoever
(OtherCatsVenom)+(Self)= Damage

Because of this, members of it's own species tend to avoid eachother and are very solitary.

All of it's atoms are slightly more negative, which causes more static electricity to be emitted, which you could get a little shock if you touch one (like touching a door knob {Though more powerful shocks can be stored over time.} And this also means they need to discharge that electricity every now and again.) Emotions also play a part in this, if it's emotions are in extreme, some of the static becomes visible. This is also equivalent to blushing (or being embarrassed.). Why? because I said so.

A Lantern Cats' like to collect things such as trinkets, toys, stones, or items left behind (Which are usually kept in a secretive place, you might accidentally stumble upon one by accident.) They also sleep a little less than half a day, and they sleep VERY deeply.
(..the only sounds they make are hissing, purrs, chirps (see serval), meows, and growls. They are anatomically and vocally the most similar to [link]))
