Going to Space, in my Spacesuit
I talked to Rift and I got his persmission to upload it.
Recently I went through an archive of his old OLD work (we're talking 2002 here people!) And I came across this awesome pic of Boy Rift lounging and was like, no... he needs someone to snuggle with. So I pulled this picture into SAI, inked it and added in a new companion for him.
I did my best to emulate his style and I hoped I pulled it off. What'cha think guys?

You look at a lot of their work, study the parts of their art that make their style unique. For example: Dragonrift has a unique way in which he draws hair and eyes. Not to mention the level of detail that goes into his space suits. You have to kinda pick and choose what elements to use.
As another example: My Little pony, they have a definite eye style that is all theirs. Not to mention hooves and hair. How they define their body shapes is unique to their style as well.
