Sorry this took so long. I wanted to do the page justice. I'm still not sure I managed it. I really had serious difficulty with the kayaking bit. Clearly i need to figure out how to draw rapids because that really didnt work but hopefully got the theme across. LOL I love teh snowboarding pose and the rock climbing bit took a while to get right. So yeah a bit of a pain in teh backside this page was but i didnt want to just throw anything random up. Also have decided to start shading pages again. recently I got lazy and just submitted pages in flat colour but I think the shading was vital in this page if only for teh rock climbing bit but in the end I really should try hard on each page i do rather than rushing them

This is probably my favorite of all the comics in this series, which is saying a lot since there are over a hundred of them. It's saying even MORE because there's not a single diaper in any of the panels. It pushes the story ahead and the excitement on each panel is palpable. Nicely done!
That means an awful lot to me. this page really seriously challenged me, and whilst theres quite a bit still wrong with it I know that 6 months ago I wouldnt have stood a chance drawing this page. I know that pages without padding get less comments and faves (althugh the veiw count is often fairly similar) but the last batch of adult pages I felt i deliberately rushed because I wanted to get back to the baby side of the story, whereas this time I dont really feel the need to steam ahead as quick because the adult part of the story is actually more important.
It shows that you put lots of work into this -- I love the third panel with pictures of Gem from three different angles in it. The rock climbing shading looks great! I love the snowboarding pose! (You didn't go snowboarding just to get the pose right did you?) And although you seem down on yourself about how the rapids turned out, I think they look fine. The narrowness of the river and the way the bank is green rather than rocky might be what doesn't look quite right. But I wouldn't be saying that if you hadn't said something about it first. This page looks awesome!
