Nobody's noticed yet that all the characters in the foreground are carrying firearms, including the robot. That indicates this is one tough, Frontier World they're on.

In Arizona, everyone packs a gun, you don't notice it, you just assume. That and I just figured the pistols were just part of the uniform as everyone seems to be carrying the same make and model.

Actually, I originally named the Cruiser, the "Warpship Virgil Partch." If you follow the cartoons in New Yorker or MAD Magazine, you'll understand how I came up with that name.
