Partial Tail Amputation - Kitty repost
So yeah, apparently some dumb ass reported my other image about this for "gory wound images", and it was taken down. -Shrug- Oh well, it's no skin off my back.
However I do want to re-post something about what happened to this beautiful kitty.
Her tail was partially amputated on Friday November 18th 2011, because of a tumor. They only took a few inches off, and she will be absolutely fine. She'll just have a tail about the same length (in comparison to body size) to a serval cat. :3
Her nickname shall be stubbybutt. <3
If you would like to see her post-op surgery picture (the one that was deleted from here) please ask, and I will link it to you.
Don't worry guys, when her tail fluff grows back, I'll post another photo of her- showing just how long her tail actually ends up being.

That's retarded. There wasn't anything "gory" about that image. It just showed a shaved, clean, staple-sutured tail tip. A quarter of the "art" on this site could be considered more "gory" than that photo was.... wtf. *sigh* Sorry someone had to be an epic dick like that... :/
Glad the tail is on the mend. I hope it turns out that the cancer cells were contained to the tail tip, and hadn't metastasized.

I don't think it was actually cancer, just a tumor of some kind. It wouldn't have had to been removed had she not bit it open. :/
Anyway, yeah.. I didn't see the problem with it either, and I've seen a bunch of other photos that pet owners have posted from their pet's surgeries. I believe I know who did report it, but it's no use starting a fight over. I'm a bigger person than that.

The tumor itself was quite near the end of it, so the end just kind of flopped around, that's probably why she tried to chew it too. They did save quite a bit, but they took a good four inches off the tail. Mom was so upset that she was gunna lose part of it, but I reminded her how much cuteness could be had from a stubbybutt kitty, and how much better off Angel would be without the risk of further infection.

The report is mostly someone who is wanna be peta member who sees anything offensive like putting a leash on a dog. As for the admins, no surprise. Since this site got worse admins I have seen. Witchiebunny I think is her username, is only one I like.
