Ironically that same B-17G was at my local airport last summer. Kinda funny being as now I'm training to be an A&P Technician. Maybe I'll luck out and get a job to work on warbirds.

I remember being in the flight pattern with "The Liberty Belle" a couple years back, that was pretty cool to see a B-17 out of nowhere. Too bad it crashed.. :/

Yes, tragic really... the worst part was that it actually landed safely but the fire crews couldn't get to her in time.

I remember seeing this bird at Cecil Field when I worked for Homeland security / Customs boarder patrol!!! . Such a beautiful aircraft!!!
