As a follow-up to my last two postings of 'owl art' by (the late) Lya Korda, I thought I'd post another owl image from another talented anthroartist; namely,
Tosh Bibb, a.k.a. Tzologeist.
This 2003 mini-sketch of hers (part of a small package of rare artwork she'd drawn and mailed to me, after we'd met at Florida's own 'furry con', "Pawpet Megaplex" in Orlando) was supposed to had been submitted to the folks at "Megaplex", in the hope that it would appear in the convention book for its 2004 edition. However, she'd changed her mind and replaced it with an alternate image (of a gryphon and a dragon engaged in a role-playing game) - which I will post shortly, before 'sweeps month' ends.
Nevertheless, I like her simple rendering of an anthropomorphic owl (wearing pants with suspenders), accompanied by a cricket, under a full moon. He seems to have a happy, optimistic look about him, as if to say, "Eh... MENSA-SCHMENSA!"
