Thank you for doing this for us, Cyri. It made me smile, because I bet that's what he looks like right now. <3
My mate and I took in a kitten about 2 weeks ago. His name was Tigger, and he was the sweetest, bravest little kitten I've ever known.
He was really tiny. We called him Pygmy, most of the time. Our little pygmy warrior.
He passed away this morning due to a sudden illness, which was probably caught by my older kitten who was ill yesterday. That's the only reason he could have passed. As we were rushing him to the vet, it was too late. He passed on the car ride there. His little body just couldn't handle the illness. I'm sorry we didn't get you there faster, mini man. But even if we did, the illness had already taken its toll.
Tigger was such a happy little guy. So affectionate. He would take on our dog and our other cats, just because he could. He was never afraid...and as cute as a button. (I'm sure I'll post a picture later, when I'm feeling better.)
Rest in Peace, my dearest little Tigger. I'll miss you very much. Always remember that you were loved.
As my mom said, he passed with love and warmth in his heart. Not with cold and abandonment like he was left to when we rescued him. Sleep well, little warrior. <3
