I'd been talking to a lot of people about a lot of different aspects of the furry fandom. While I've been a lurker for a long time I've only actively been writing, and thus contributing to the fandom, for only a few years. A lot of people say that as a furry matures their fursona goes through a transition. I can understand this because, as a person, we grow and change and our likes and dislikes alter as we age. While some people cling desperately to their furry identifier others go through rapid changes.

I'm not saying, outright, that I am changing Tiberius (and thus myself) into a coyote, more like testing the waters. That's where this picture comes in. I asked  Neo to draw Tiberius as a coyote. I didn't plan on changing his markings, clothing, or personality (Who would forgive me if I parted with his hat?) and so the challenge was on Neo to come up with something the same yet also different. This is a portion of the result.

On one side you can see wolf Tiberius and coyote Tiberius as a playing card. Neo really did a really awesome job with this. I like the idea and I may tweak it into a badge for FC 2012. Not sure! We'll see how the coyote lifestyle fits me.

So, I'm welcoming feedback on the idea of changing species. While I won't make the choice by democratic vote, getting input from other furries is always welcome.
