What you should try when you go to MFF
Every year I have gone to MFF I have always ordered a Chicago deep dish and just shared it with random people at the convention, I did that the last night, I was at the inflation party with a number of friends and acquaintances at the con and lets just say it is very delicious and very filling.

In the sacred dish of my homeland, the crust is formed almost like a hand-tossed pizza... and in fact in some places you can see them toss and spin the dough. Only it goes into a deep pan with high perpendicular edges. In the bottom you will have the lower layer of cheese. The toppings go on top of that, spread as evenly as possible. An upper layer of cheese will then follow. Finally the whole top is covered with the sauce, often with chunky tomato, depending on the restaurant. The result is the masterpiece you see above. It's why people can get so confused and wonder where the toppings are... It's upside down!
